Products and their active ingredients

Before and right after treatment Purifying & Calming Lotion

Disinfects and cleanses the skin, softens keratinised epidermis and opens the follicle, so the probe goes in more easily. After treatment we wipe the skin with it again to cleanse and disinfect. Free of parabens, synthetic fragrances and dyes.

Urea 17% dissolves sebum and opens pores more deeply
Gluconolactone gently exfoliates the surface and moisturises

Cataphoresis COSMIX Hydro Gel Base

A natural contact gel for cataphoresis and device treatments. Conducts current well, soothes, cools and moisturises the skin. Absorbs quickly and leaves no sticky layer. This is the gel we use for cataphoresis in our clinic.

Cataphoresis · face COSMIX Senso Calm Gel

Relieves burning and irritation, speeds up skin regeneration, moisturises and is antibacterial. We use it for cataphoresis and as the main facial aftercare.

A talc-free S.O.S. powder for moist body areas. Dries the skin, soothes irritation and protects against bacteria. Forms a breathable protective layer on the skin. Also helps with ingrown hairs.

A soothing lotion for dry body areas. Anti-inflammatory and antiseptic, relieves irritation and redness, moisturises. Also suits sensitive and couperose skin.

Face · make-up after treatment Loose Mineral Foundation

A loose mineral powder – the only “coloured” cosmetic allowed during the first day after treatment. Soothing and protective, smooths the skin and does not clog pores. Free of talc, oils and preservatives, with a mineral SPF 20 filter.

For the person after treatment

Aftercare advice

We hand these out on a leaflet after every visit.

For 3 days, apply a skincare product after every contact with water.
For the first 24 h, do not use coloured cosmetics on the treated area – only loose mineral powder.
For 24 h avoid sauna, solarium, swimming pool and gym.
Use cosmetics with a mineral SPF 20 filter.
Do not tan for 2 weeks after treatment.
If small scabs appear, do not pick them.

Sensitive skin · F and KBallet gold probesCoated with nickel-free 24-carat gold. Less redness and swelling after treatment. For electrolysis, skin tags and cherry angiomas. For people with allergies or sensitive skin.
Thermolysis · FBallet insulated probesMicron-thin insulation protects the skin surface from irritation, even during longer treatments. Less discomfort and lower risk of burns. Not for electrolysis or blend.
Universal · F and KBallet steel probesSwedish 18/8 stainless steel with a micro-polished tip. For electrolysis and closing capillaries. For strong, healthy skin.

All Ballet probes (needles) are CE-certified and come in sizes F2, F3, F4 (gold and steel also K2–K4). We also offer IBIS probes and Swiss IBIS tweezers.

We match the probe to the hair thickness and replace it after every treatment and area. In training we show which one to choose.
